Prevalence and Associated Factors of Depression among Coronary Artery Disease Patients in Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre in Qassim, Saudi Arabia

Background: Patients with myocardial infarction history are more likely to suffer from depression which significantly impacts their health and mortality. We looked at depression and memory function concerning one another because they are linked. We wanted to find out how many patients had depression, memory loss, or both, as well as what factors were associated with each outcome. Methods: This study was conducted among patients with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) admitted or visited Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre (PSCC) in King Fahad Specialist Hospital (KFSH) in Al- Qassim province, Saudi Arabia from 2021 to 2022.
