Motivating Persons with Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders to Exercise: Rationale and Design

The diagnostic overlap between the three is well known (1); recent research indicates that persons with these disorders have similar psychiatric symptoms (2) and cognitive deficits (3, 4). Another commonality is the increased risk for adverse physical health outcomes shared by persons with these illnesses.
